Peel police are looking into two arsons that occurred overnight in Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario, with no injuries reported.

Peel police are investigating two separate arsons that happened overnight on Sunday in Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario.

Officers responded to a fire call at a home near Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue W. around 12:30 a.m. There were no injuries reported from this fire.

Mississauga Fire received the call from a neighbor who saw flames coming from the outside of the house. Firefighters put out the fire, and the occupants were safely evacuated.

In a different incident, Peel police responded to a vehicle fire at Queen Street East and Rutherford Road at about 1:30 a.m. The vehicle was unoccupied, and no injuries occurred.

Both incidents are being treated as arson, but Peel police stated they do not believe the two cases are connected.
